Brittany joined the WHAG team as a reporter in December 2013. She was born and raised in the Washington, DC area and is happy to be so close to home.

Brittany's love for journalism started at age 13. She received her Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from the Pennsylvania State University and her Master's degree in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

Before WHAG, she started her career at NBC News as desk assistant. In that position, she served as a production assistant for MSNBC shows, a White House producer, and an overnight assignment editor.

In 2011, Brittany was fortunate to travel to South Africa as a special correspondent for the Centre County Report.

She is an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists.

Brittany enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching sports and shopping. She can't wait to explore the four-state region!
