Q: "How do I change my password?" A: All your settings (if you are registered) are stored in the database. After logging in, you will be asked if you would like to change your settings. Simply click to do so. Remember, you may change your password but not your username.
Q: "How does the registration activation email work?"A: Once you have entered your information to become a registered user with your4state.com, you will receive a confirmation email. This is to ensure your safety as well as the safety of our other users. This email will arrive the same day. Depending on how you have your email settings, it may arrive in your spam box. Once you have responded to the activation email, your account is automatially and immediately activated. You may request the activation email be resent on the login page of your4state.com.
Q: "How do I customize my homepage?" A: Hover your mouse over the different modules on the homepage. When you see a four-point arrow, hold down your mouse and move that module wherever you would like it on your homepage. Keep in mind, not all modules can be moved, and modules can only be dropped into similar sizing areas.
Q: "What are Bookmarks?"A: Bookmarks are links to your favorite websites. With our bookmarks feature, all your favorite sites are just a click away.
Q: "How do I bookmark this page?"A: To add a "Bookmarks" section to your personalized homepage, follow these steps:
1. Click on "Add Content" in the top-left corner.
2. Select "Tools" from the left panel.
3. Click the "Add it now" button under the section entitled "Bookmarks."
4. Click "Back to homepage" in the top-left corner of the page.

A: Click on "Make this your home page" at the top of the screen.
Q: "How do I post a Classified Ad?" A: You may post a classified ad for free, but you must be a registered user to do so. Once registered, click on "classifieds" under "Marketplace" on the main navigation bar. Read over the warning page, then choose the type of classified ad you would like to place, i.e. general, auto, real estate, etc.
Q: "How do I edit a town crier event?" A: Log on to Your4State.com. Click on "town crier" on the main navigation bar. Go the starting date of your event. Find your event and click on the "edit" button.
Q: "How do I post a real estate ad or automobile posting?" A: You may post a classified ad for free, but you must be a registered user to do so. Once registered, click on either "automall" or "real estate" under "Marketplace" on the main navigation bar. Read over the warning page, then choose the type of classified ad you would like to place, i.e. general, auto, real estate, etc.
Q: "How do I post a job posting?" A: Click on "jobs" on the main navigation bar. Once inside, click to register underneath the "Welcome to your4state" header. Once registered, you may click to post your opening under "Employers" on the main jobs page. You may for your posting with a credit card online.
Q: "How do I post a resume?" A: Click on "jobs" on the main navigation bar. Once inside, click to register underneath the "Welcome to your4state" header. Once registered, you may click to post your resume under "Job Seekers" on the main jobs page.
Q: "How do I edit my classfied ad, real estate ad or automobile posting?" A: Log on to Your4State.com using the same username and password with which you placed your ad. Click on the type of classified you want to edit under "Marketplace" on the main navigation bar. Then click either Real Estate, Auto or Classifieds. Once on the interior page, you will see a box entitled, "manage your listings." You may edit or delete information from there.
