NBC’s annual “Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” celebrates the nation’s birthday with all-star performances from multiplatinum singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran. The six time Grammy nominated singer joins Dierks Bentley, Kelly Clarkson, Brad Paisley, Flo Rida and Meghan Trainor. “Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” airs Saturday, July 4 at 8 p.m. with an hour long encore presentation at 10 p.m.

Emceed by “TODAY” show co-hosts Willie Geist and Tamron Hall, America’s most spectacular party will take place from two locations on the East River in midtown and within the South Street Seaport district. The 39th annual Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks will be fired from four barges positioned between 23rd and 37th streets in midtown and from one double-barge positioned below the Brooklyn Bridge.

The presentation will include more than 50,000 pyrotechnic shells and effects during a 25-minute synchronized display. New shells and effects include multi-colored transformation ghosts, blue and red octopi, crescent moons, patriotic stars, double hearts, roaring dragons, screaming banshees, purple rain, and spider webbed shaped shells. In honor of this year’s bravery theme, the show will combine these mesmerizing effects in 22 different colors, including new neon highlighter yellow, green and pink.

Come enjoy the 3rd Annual Rockin' Independence Eve, an All-American event on the Old Town Winchester walking mall Friday, July 3! Rockin' Independence Eve celebrates our nation's independence and is a free, family-friendly event that boasts fun for all ages. Live music, a corn-hole tournament, numerous kids' activities and a beer garden are just a few of the activities attendees can expect. The evening will be capped off with an impressive fireworks show. Festivities kick-off at 5:00 p.m. and the fireworks begin around 9:15 p.m.

Frederick's 4th in downtown Frederick, MD

Come join WHAG from noon until dusk in Baker Park in Frederick, Maryland. The event features regional and national entertainment beginning at noon on two stages of entertainment. Families from the surrounding region enjoy a day packed with rides, activities and entertainment. Dunk a Frederick celebrity or race a bath tub down Culler Lake – there is a little something for everyone. The 2015 firework show presented by Comfort One Shoes featuring Frederick favorite Zambelli Fireworks, will be shot at dusk from Parkway Elementary School. Grab your seat early, because the park fills up quickly.

Maryland Symphony Orchestra Salute to Independence

Red, White and Boom!

Since 1986 the Maryland Symphony Orchestra has presented a free “Salute to Independence” Concert at Antietam National Battlefield near Sharpsburg, MD. Held on the first Saturday of July, the “Salute” has been billed as “Maryland’s Most Patriotic Event” and has also been recognized by the American Bus Association as “One of the Top 100 Events in North America.” The evening concert attracts nearly 30,000 people from all over and is capped off by a spectacular fireworks display, one of the largest in the region. Pieter Bickford will serve as Master of Ceremonies and the MSO will be joined by special guests Vocalist, Rob Tudor, Director of Vocal Activities and Music Department Chair at Shepherd University, and Radio and TV personality, Robert Aubry Davis, as narrator of "Lincoln Portrait."
