11-year-old steals the show in Sochi
SOCHI, Russia - She stole the hearts of the world as she flew high above the crowd during the opening ceremonies for the 2014 Winter Olympics. 11-year-old Liz (Lee-za) Tamnikova (tam-knee-ka-va) arrived at the Sochi Airport, making her way home from the games, to find several members of the media. She described the whole experience as "awesome." The young athlete is actually a gymnast and says one day she will make an appearance in the Olympics.
