On April 23, the students proudly presented representatives from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation with a check for $5,300.
The funds were raised by participation in the Great Strides Walk and through sales of a student business named "Duct Tape Creations".
At the school to receive the check were Stephanie Sullivan, Development Director for CFF and Hugh Breslin, Vice President and General Manager at WHAG.
This year's walk weighed heavily on the hearts of Beall students because last year their classmate, Mya, who had cystic fibrosis, passed away in May 2012.
The students wanted to keep her memory alive by raising money for CFF so other students wouldn't have to go through what Mya did.
