Demolition Makes Way for New Supermarket

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Piles of rubble are all that's left of a local K-Mart on East Main Street in Washington Township.

The store closed its doors for good in June 2014 and crews tore down the building shortly after that. A local bank and restaurant were torn down as well.

Officials said a new Martin's Supermarket will be built on the site. No word yet on when it will open.
