Hackenberg Builds Chemistry with WRs

STATE COLLEGE – It’s a seemingly whole new group of wide receivers for Penn State QB Christian Hackenberg to bond with.
Penn State loses more than 80 percent of its wide receiving yards from a year ago.
No more Allen Robinson security blanket for Hackenberg.
The Nittany Lion signal caller knows no single player can fill the shoes of the two-time Big Ten receiver of the year.
And so far he likes what he sees from the group.
“Throughout the spring they've really picked it up and you know I'm excited for the new challenge,” Hackenberg says. “But I think these guys are ready for it. And it's going to give us an opportunity to really spread the ball around this year and let a lot of different guys get their hands on the ball and make plays."
It also helps to have a very seasoned bunch at tight end for hack to work with.
Running back Bill Belton's also catching the ball well, which makes sense since he started his career at wide-out for Penn State.
