FREDERICK, Md. - Frederick, Md., residents capped off their work week with the annual, "Alive at 5," which kicked off in downtown Frederick.
Between the great music, great local food, and even better drinks, people attended the first of many “Alive at 5” events for the start of the season. Officials with the Downtown Frederick Partnership said that every year is different and this year features 20 different bands. People said each week brings a different type of atmosphere to Carroll Creek.
“There is a different band every week with a different feel and a different kind of vibe, so having that variety in the music genre appeals to a wide variety of people in Frederick,” said Leeann Dickerson, Marketing & Promotion Manager, Downtown Frederick Partnership.
"Alive at 5," will run all the way to the end of September.
