Frederick's first and only "Yappy Hour," held to donate to local animal control

During the event, people were able to meet two adoptable dogs

FREDERICK, Md. - Frederick’s one and only “Yappy Hour” happened on the patio of Barley and Hops Grill and Microbrewery Thursday.

Community members enjoyed the warm weather with their well behaved pups while eating food and enjoying cocktails with the company of other animal lovers. During the event, people were able to meet two adoptable dogs.

Also, 20 percent of the food, beverage, and alcohol sales from the event went to the Frederick friends of the Frederick County Animal Control.
