Hood College and Frederick Memorial Hospital break ground on resource garden

There will be around 60 volunteers for the project

FREDERICK, Md. - Hood College and Frederick Memorial Hospital have broke ground on a resource garden to grow local produce.

By partnering together, the resource garden will help local Frederick families, veterans, and senior citizens in need. The garden will have 14 small sub-plots to be split equally between the college and the hospital. Located in between both locations, officials with the project are excited to help lend a helping hand to members of the Frederick community.

There will be around 60 volunteers for the project.
