Pokemon Go gamers robbed at post office

Police searching for 3 suspects

GAITHERSBURG, Md. - Catch Pokemon with precaution.

 

Reports of robberies associated with Pokemon Go players are spreading across the country and into the 4-state area.

 

Gaithersburg police reported a strong-armed robbery just after midnight on Tuesday.

 

The two adult victims were in a post office parking lot on S Summit Avenue when three men physically assaulted and robbed them.

 

Police believe the victims were playing Pokemon Go before the men approached them from behind.

 

They are still looking for the suspects, described as three black males between 25 and 30 years old.

 

And, a reminder from police to always be aware when you are walking.
