Small businesses are constantly changing in Western Maryland

Local consultant shares what small businesses are lacking

FREDERICK, Md. - According to the U.S. Department of labor - professional and business services in Western Maryland are slightly changing. And a local consultant shares what small businesses are lacking.

Small businesses are the heart of the economy and the owner and principal of Centerpoint shares strategies, development, and organization skills Maryland businesses needs to overturn the success rate. Centerpoints focus is in helping businesses of all types - small and midsize businesses in Frederick county to get proper certifications.

"A third of businesses were failing, by five years, more than half had gone away and then by the ten year mark, less than a third of the businesses that have started we done - had ended" says Adam Cubbage, Owner of Centerpoint Strategic Business Services.

Statistics also show the employment rate in Frederick has increased since last year.
