ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Maryland Senate passed a bill raising the state's minimum wage Saturday. The bill got the green light with a 34-to-13 vote.

It would gradually raise the minimum wage to $10.10 an hour by 2018.

The senate added a provision to give service providers who work with those who are disabled a raise. Now the bill must go back to the Maryland House of Delegates because of that provision.

The house will have to move quickly on this bill. Next Monday is the last day of this year's session.
