Man Charged in Keedysville Double Homicide Waives Extradition Hearing

- KEEDYSVILLE, Md. - The man accused of killing two people in Keedysville over the weekend is being brought back to Washington County to face charges after waving an extradition hearing in Montgomery County, Virginia. 

As we've reported, 
Joseph William Minoglio, 19, is facing murder charges after officials say he allegedly killed his paternal grandparents in their house that he was living in. Deputies with the Washington County Sheriff's Office discovered the violent crime scene in the home at 4 Hoot Owl Court just before 6 p.m. Saturday, March 15. 

Deputies identified the victims as 78-year-old Peggy Minoglio and 84-year-old Joseph Michael Minoglio, who officials say were stabbed more than 15 times.

As you may recall, the victims' grandson turned himself in on Sunday in Montgomery County, Virginia. 

Minoglio is charged with two counts of first degree murder, two counts of second degree murder, two counts of attempted first degree murder, two counts of attempted second degree murder, two counts of first degree assault, and two counts of second degree assault.
