A Frederick Subway restaurant was robbed by a man with a gun on Sunday evening

The sandwich shop is located on Thomas Johnson Drive.

FREDERICK, Md - The Frederick Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened just after 5 p.m. Sunday evening at a Subway restaurant.

This happened on the 100 block of Thomas Johnson Drive in Frederick.

Witnesses told police a white, male suspect entered the store with a handgun and demanded money out of the cash register.

After stealing an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect left the area on foot.

No one was injured and no suspects have been identified yet.
