Maryland State Police investigating an accident involving one of their troopers

Police say they are looking for the other person involved in the accident

HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Police are investigating a two-vehicle accident involving one of their troopers in Hagerstown.

Maryland State Police say around 8 a.m. Thursday morning is when the accident occurred at the intersection of South Potomac Street and Memorial Boulevard between a vehicle and police cruiser. Police say the trooper sustained an injury and right now troopers say they are looking for a man, who was at the scene of the accident. He is described as a white male, with a dark beard wearing a baseball cap.
