522 Bridge Accident Shuts Down Road for Several Hours

- HANCOCK, Md. - The 522 Bridge in Hancock was shut down for several hours after an accident involving a tractor trailer, pick-up truck and motorcycle.

The crash was called in around 4:30 p.m. 

Two people were checked on the scene for minor injuries. The motorcyclist was reported to be up and walking around, however did have a minor leg injury.

Washington County fire and rescue officials say no one was taken to the hospital. 

The bridge reopened just after after 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to dispatch. 

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
