Be Aware of Traffic Changes & Congestion on July 4th

HAGERSTOWN, MD - Motorists should be aware of traffic pattern changes as Hagerstown celebrates July 4th with fireworks at Fairgrounds Park Monday.

Beginning at 6 p.m., Cannon Avenue will be closed to all traffic between Jefferson Street and North Mulberry Street.

Beginning at 4 p.m., no on-street parking will be permitted on the west side of Cleveland Avenue between Jefferson Street and the Fairgrounds Park entrance.

Large crowds are expected and motorists are cautioned that traffic will be congested in that area.  

Musical entertainment will start at 6 p.m. and fireworks will be displayed at 9:30 p.m. The fireworks will end around 10 p.m. and Cannon Avenue will be reopened to traffic by 11 p.m.

The rain date for fireworks is Tuesday, July 5th.
