WAYNESBORO, Pa.- The family of Billy Travis, a victim of child abuse, is holding a fundraising event called "Billy Bash" on Saturday May 10 at Otterbein Church in Waynesboro to raise money for a new extension on their home.

Billy was just 4 years old when he sustained severe brain damage due to abuse by his then step-mom.

The new room will give Billy much-needed space for all of the medical equipment needed to keep him alive and comfortable.

Doors for Billy Bash will open at 5 p.m. and it goes from 6-8 p.m. at the Otterbein Church's ministry building. The event will feature a silent auction, food sales and various forms of entertainment.

Admission is free.
