WASHINGTON COUNTY, Md. - Hagerstown City Police are helping in the search for a 17-year-old Baltimore girl who ran away Monday after visiting family in Hagerstown.
Police were called to Locust Point just before 11 a.m. Monday for a missing persons report.
Police say after investigating, they determined that Monica Stevens ran away because she did not want to return to her home in Baltimore.
Stevens is described as a white female, about 5'2" in height, weighing around 140 pounds.
She was last seen wearing a long-sleeved pink shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call police immediately at 301-790-3700.
