Crews Battle Large Brush Fire in Morgan County, West Virginia

- GREAT CACAPON, W.Va. - Firefighters in West Virginia have been battling a brush fire for hours Sunday afternoon and are trying to get the blaze under control before it spreads.

Dispatchers with Morgan County Fire and Rescue say it started around 3:30 p.m. along Marty Lane in Great Cacapon. As of 8:30 p.m., about a dozen crews are still trying to get the fire under control.

The fire has damaged around two acres at this point, but fortunately no injuries have been reported, according to dispatchers.
