Deputies Investigate Stabbing Incident

FREDERICK COUNTY, Va. - Deputies with the Frederick County Sheriff's Office are investigating an early morning stabbing incident that sent one man to the hospital. 

The incident happened around 1:09 a.m. Thursday, April 24 along the 100 block of Brookland Terrace. 

Police say they received a 911 call from a concerned citizen, who said he answered a knock at his front door to find a person lying on the ground bleeding. The caller recognized the man as an acquaintance of his. 

Upon arrival, deputies found the man lying on the ground with multiple stab wounds. He was identified as Walter Robinson, 34, with no fixed address. During the interview, Robinson told police he got into a fight with two other man inside a hotel room at the Super 8 motel along 1077 Millwood Pike. During the altercation Robinson was stabbed numerous times. 

Robinson told police he was able to escape the hotel room and drove to the acquaintances house. 

Robinson was transported to Winchester Medical Center and treated for non-life threatening injuries. At this time, no arrests have been made and the case is still under investigation.
