Deputies Search for Man in Dollar Store Armed Robbery

BERKELEY COUNTY, W.Va. - An armed robbery caused quite a scare Tuesday evening at a local Dollar General.

Dispatchers said the call came in just after 5 p.m. from the store at 129 Eagle School Road in Martinsburg. 

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office said the suspect entered the store, displayed a gun, threatened employees, grabbed money and ran.

The suspect is described as a thin, light skin black male, about 5'10." He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a plaid hoodie style jacket and a fisherman's hat.
