Falling Waters, W.Va. - Officials with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office are investigating an armed robbery at the B&R Tobacco store located on Williamsport Pike.

They said the incident happened Wednesday evening when three men entered the store. All three men were wearing bandannas and hoods, and two of the men displayed handguns.

Investigators say the cash register and safe were emptied before the trio fled the area on foot. The clerk was shaken, but not harmed in the robbery.

A K9 tracked the suspects to the 400 block of Bashore Drive before losing the track. Deputies believe the three men either entered a house in that area or had parked a get away vehicle.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact either Deputy Robert Lippman or Deputy Bill Christina at (304)-267-7000 or Crime Solvers at (304)-267-4999. Callers with information can remain anonymous.
