Troopers say a tractor trailer rolled over into a ditch on I-81 south, near mile marker 311 around 10 a.m. Thursday morning.
A man was driving the tractor, while towing another one, when witnesses say he began to weave between the lanes on I-81 northbound. They say he crossed over the median, and landed in the southbound lanes. No other vehicles were hit in the incident.
Officials believe a medical emergency caused the accident and other drivers stopped on the scene to help. One person administered CPR to the man as he was unconscious.
The man was taken to Winchester Medical Center, alive but non-responsive.
State police say traffic was backed up to mile marker 317, with only one lane open. It has since reopened.
