PENNSYLVANIA - The Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show will not take place this year.
The show was scheduled to begin at the start of February in Harrisburg, but was postponed indefinitely after controversy arose over a decision by organizers to ban certain weapons at the event.
Several local companies boycotted the event stating they felt like their second amendment right was being attacked.
State officials announced Thursday the show will not be rescheduled for this year.
No word on any plans for 2014.
