WHAG NEWS - The U.S. Attorney's Office says a former Roxbury prison guard has been sentenced to 30 months in federal prison.

A U.S. District Judge sentenced Tyson Hinckle for conspiring with other officers to assault an inmate.

Kinckle along with three other correctional officers assaulted Kenneth Davis back in March of 2008.

Hinckle is the seventh former officer from RCI who's been sentenced in connection with the series of assaults on Davis.

A total of 16 current and former officers have been convicted.
