Four Arrested in Strong-Armed Robbery

FREDERICK, Md. - Four local residents are behind bars after officers said the group attacked a man on the street. 

The incident happened Sunday, August 17 around 11:15 p.m. in the area of Scholl's Lane and S. Jefferson Street, according to the Frederick Police Department. 

The investigation revealed that a man was walking with a group of several people when a fight broke out, police say. 

The victim told police at one point the group began attacking him and took his belongings, including his cell phone. 

Police said the male victim was transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. He was able to identify his attackers. Officers were able to find the group walking along N. Market Street, just a short time later. 

All four, Thomas Staub Jr., of Frederick, Md., Tara Sanders, of Thurmont, Md., Joshua Fisher, of Frederick, Md., and Emma Morgan of Frederick, Md., were arrested and taken to Central Booking.
