Frederick Man Arrested in Cab Driver Robbery

- FREDERICK, Md. - The Frederick Police Department arrested a man Tuesday in connection the January robbery of a local cab driver. 

The incident happened on Saturday, January 25, 2014 in the 100 block of Rhode Island Court. 

Responding officers determined that the cab driver was robbed by two suspects after giving them a ride.

Throughout the course of the investigation, officers were able to determine one of the suspects as Ronald Kent Hall, 25, of Frederick. Police say Hall and another suspect had solicited the cab driver for a ride, and once at the location the two robbed the driver and then fled the scene. 

On Tuesday, Hall was arrested in the 100 block of W Patrick Street on an outstanding arrest warrant in this case. He was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center, where he is awaiting an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.
