Frederick Police Respond to Shots Fired

FREDERICK, Md. - Officers with the Frederick Police Department responded to the area of Third Street and North Market Street for a report of shots being fired. It happened early Saturday morning around 1:24 a.m.

A patrol officer was riding a bicycle downtown when he heard the shots and reported the information. Witnesses told police they saw several black males in the area, heard the gunfire, and saw the men run away. Several vehicles were struck but no people were shot. No further description of the suspects were given.
