WHAG NEWS - The Frostburg Cinema 1-2-3 can see the light at the end of the tunnel after being told it would show its final movie on Sunday, August 17. With the help of the local community and from an outside company, the cinema is being saved.

However, there is a catch. If the cinema can get 2,000 people to sign up for a membership by Sept. 14, 2014 then the movie saving company, Movie Heroes, will help restore and open the theater back up with its former employees.

Cinema employees will be set up outside the theater Wednesday, August 20 until September 14 between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., and 5-7 p.m.
