FROSTBURG, Md. - There was a serious accident at a coal strip mine site around 1:15 a.m. Thursday along Cabin Run Road in Frostburg.

Dispatchers in Allegany County said a bulldozer fell 150 ft. over a high wall with the driver inside.

We're told around 4 a.m., he was extricated out of the bulldozer, and was lifted back up over the wall by crews.

They said the driver was conscious the whole time. He was transported to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, where he was listed as a low priority patient.

The Shaft Fire Company responded to the incident, along with other local units.
