Johnson Controls in Waynesboro to Begin Layoffs in April

WAYNESBORO, Pa.The Johnson Controls plant in Waynesboro will be laying off more than 200 employees over the next year and a half.

Documents submitted by the company to the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry show the layoffs will begin next month and end sometime in October 2015.

The plant is one of the largest employers in the area, but Johnson Controls is moving forward with plans to relocate some of its operations from Waynesboro to Mexico.
