HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Two 15-year-old boys are facing charges after fire officials said the pair set a vehicle on fire this week in Hagerstown.

The two juveniles were arrested by Hagerstown City Fire Marshal's Thursday following an investigation into a car fire that occurred along 626 Potomac Avenue at 2:13 a.m. Monday.

On Monday, Hagerstown Fire Department units responded to the rear of the address for a vehicle on fire. Upon arrival, units said they found a 2002 Honda Accord fully engulfed in flames.

The vehicle is owned by Gary Allen, of Germantown, Maryland. Fire officials said the vehicle is driven by his son, Travis Allen of Hagerstown.

Hagerstown Fire Marshal's said they determined the fire was intentionally set. Followup interviews identified the two Hagerstown juveniles responsible for the fire.

The two were charged through the Department of Juvenile Services with second-degree arson, along with several additional arson and malicious destruction of property charges.
