It is a day dedicated to empowering America’s youth to be advocates for their own health with activities designed to help kids learn about the dangers of smoking and encourage one another to stay tobacco free. It is sponsored nationally by United Health Foundation.
As a part of the event, local children performed martial arts to signify defeating tobacco companies.
Master Kimmy Smith, owner or White Tiger Martial Arts, introduced and explained his organizations aimed to teach kids the vale of healthy living and a tobacco free lifestyle.
