Man Arrested in Hagerstown Sheetz Robbery

- HAGERSTOWN, Md. - The Hagerstown Police Department arrested a man Thursday in connection to a robbery reported at a local Sheetz Convenience Store earlier this week. 

Officers arrested Thornell Thomas Marshall, 54, of no fixed address, and charged him with robbery, assault and theft. 

As we've reported, the robbery happened on Monday, August 4 around 12:30 a.m. at the Sheetz located on 301 E. Washington Street. 

Police said Marshall assaulted one of the store's clerks and escaped with an undisclosed amount of money. The clerk sustained minor injuries from the assault.

Marshall is currently being held at the Washington County Detention Center.
