At a hearing on Tuesday, Franklin County Assistant District Attorney John Lisko added one count of felony drug delivery to Mickel Shaffer's charges.
Shaffer is already facing several charges, including criminal homicide in the shooting death of Janorris Hughes.
As you may recall, Hughes broke into a house on Mt. Cydonia Road, armed with an assault rifle and attempted to rob Shaffer and another man, Terry Fulton. During the attempted robbery, investigators say Hughes got into some sort of scuffle with Terry Fulton. Hughes shot at Fulton multiple times. Fulton suffered three gun shots wounds and was taken to York Hospital.
Police say Shaffer was able to get control of the rifle and shot at Hughes, killing him.
No date has been set for Shaffer's arraignment.
