Man Faces Burglary Charges After Breaking into Church

- FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. - Deputies with the Frederick County Sheriff's Office say a local man is facing burglary charges after breaking into a church. 

Deputies arrested Corey T. Busche, 21, of Frederick, Md., on Friday, February 28, 2014 and charged him with second and fourth-degree burglary, and destruction of property. 

On Friday around 11:52 p.m., deputies were conducting a patrol check at the Frederick Baptist Church on Mt. Zion Road, when they saw several screens on the ground and an open window. Additional units and a Sheriff's Office K-9 were called in to assist. 

Within minutes, Busche came out of one of the church's windows and ran down a hill toward Mt. Zion Road. Deputies were able to catch him, and take him into custody without incident. He was found in possession of a crow bar, and screwdriver which were seized as evidence. 

Busche was taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for processing. The Frederick County Bureau of Investigation is continuing to investigate.
