Court officials said Daniel L. McQueen, 42, of Baltimore, Md., was sentenced on charges of possession with intent to distribute cocaine and second-degree assault.
The charges are the result of a Cumberland City Police dispatch to a local home. Upon arrival at the residence, officers discovered evidence of drug trafficking. One officer was assaulted by McQueen during the arrest.
McQueen was sentenced to serve 12 years' incarceration within the Department of Corrections on the cocaine charge, and three years to run consecutively on the assault charge. Officials said he will serve a total of 15 years within the Department of Corrections.
