Man Stabbed in Alleyway on East Franklin Street

HAGERSTOWN, Md. - A man is serious condition after being stabbed in the chest on East Franklin Street.

Hagerstown City Police were called to the scene around 6:15 PM Saturday evening, for the stabbing.

Officers say the victim was stabbed by an older black male in an alleyway.

The suspect is described to be in his late 40's or early 50's, about 5'10" and between 150-160 lbs.
The victim was taken to a local hospital by ambulance, with life threatening injuries, but officials believe he'll be ok.

Hagerstown Police are asking if anyone has information about this incident, to call the Hagerstown Department of Police’s Criminal Investigating Division at 301-790-3700.
