Martinsburg-Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce Hosts Community Showcase

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - The Martinsburg-Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce hosted their sixth annual community showcase.

Businesses and organizations displayed their products and services to the public at the Martinsburg Mall.

Many vendors offered showcase specials and giveaway prizes. Some of the organizations were: The Journal, The Panhandle Magazine, and the Berkeley County Development Authority.

There was even a special appearance made by Spongebob Squarepants and the Chick-Fil-A cow.

"We started it six years ago, and we modeled it after our local home show but it's open to any business or organization in the community, and it's just a great way for the community to come and see what different people are doing,"says Tina Combs, president and CEO of the Martinsburg-Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce.

Combs says her job at the chamber includes promoting businesses and this showcase gave her the perfect opportunity to do just that.

This holiday season, the Chamber of Commerce is urging everyone to support local businesses and shop locally whenever possible.
