FULTON COUNTY, Pa. - A McConnellsburg man is behind bars after state police say he was found with heroin and other drug paraphernalia in his possession.

Troopers say based on a follow-up investigation from a recent heroin overdose, a search warrant was executed on May 2, 2014 at a home along Lions Park Drive, where the accused lived.

Several types of drugs along with material for packaging and selling drugs were removed from the house.

State police say about 30 minutes after after the execution of the warrant, the accused, Andrew Christian Doyle, 26, of McConnellsburg, Pa., was taken into custody at the Mountain House Bar on Lincoln Highway in Ayr Township.

At that time, police say Doyle was found to be in possession of heroin, and other drug related paraphernalia.

Doyle is currently being held at the Franklin County Jail.
