HAGERSTOWN, Md. - A methadone clinic in Hagerstown is relocating to a new space near Williamsport.

According to the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, the treatment center's application to relocate was approved in March and they're reportedly setting up shop at Everly Plaza on Everly Rd. in Hagerstown.

As of right now, the plaza consists of a bakery and deli and suites 7-13 are expected to be occupied by the methodone clinic.

Many community members say the worry the treatment center will bring traffic and noise to the community.

"The permit holder says it might be worse than a night club...that's all I know," said Nathan Burkholder of Burkholder's Bakery.
