MSP Investigate Drive-By Shooting in Hagerstown

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Md. - Maryland State Police are investigating a reported drive-by shooting in Hagerstown. 

Troopers said the incident happened in the 20000 block of Jefferson Boulevard, near Yingling's Golf Center. They said sometime between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday, an unknown person or persons used a large caliber handgun to shoot through the front door of a residence in the area. 

According to state police, the homeowner is an elderly person and a motive for the shooting has not been determined.
