Mudslide Shuts Down Roadway

- Harpers Ferry, W.Va. - A Sunday morning mudslide has shut down a road in Jefferson County, West Virginia.

The West Virginia Department of Highways says the mudslide happened around 10:30 a.m.

Route 32, from Route 340 to the top of Pipertown Hill, is shut down. 

The road is expected to be closed until at least Monday evening, as crews clean mud, rocks, and trees off the roadway.
