Organizers put on a three day event this weekend at the Springfield Farm, featuring bluegrass and country music.
This is the second year for the event which is called the River City Barnfest, but this is the first year the event is running for three days. Organizers say the main purpose is to raise money to repair the barn.
"The roof is very old," says Tearza Knode, a member of the Barn Use Committee. "We have a lot of leaks when you have rainy days," she says.
Last year, the group raised $6000 and this year they hope to triple that amount because they've increased the number of days and performers.
Parking at the event is free, but there is a $20 fee for a one day pass, or $30 dollars for Saturday and Sunday.
The next event on the farm will be next weekend. The event is called Retreat Through Williamsport: Civil War Weekend. For more information on that event, click here.
