The legislation closes loopholes in the system. Once signed, the bill should ensure sex offenders who move to Pennsylvania, will face prosecution if they fail to register under Megan's Law.
Homeless offenders must also register with state police.
The bill also includes an amendment which makes it a third degree felony for a teacher or school employee to engage in sexual relationships with students.
