Plane Crash Sends Child to Chambersburg Hospital

- FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. - The Pleasant Hall Volunteer Fire Company responded to a single-engine plane crash Sunday afternoon in Franklin County.

Fire officials confirm the crash happened shortly before 2 p.m. in Roxbury. They say it happened in front of the Roxbury Holiness Camp and two people were inside the plane when it went down.

We’re told an adult and child were on that plane. The child was transported to the Chambersburg Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash is under investigation by Pennsylvania State Police and the Federal Aviation Administration.
