BECKLEY, WV - With ever-increasing gas prices, travel experts are predicting more families will stay closer to home for vacation. It's National Tourism Week and West Virginia is being called the "playground we call home" for the occasion.

Kara Dense, president of the West Virginia Convention and Visitor Bureau Association, explains how you can take a vacation at home in the Eastern Panhandle. Perhaps there are some fun activities in the area you haven't tried yet.
