This was a doppler radar indicated tornado, or a severe thunderstorm that was capable of producing a tornado.
According to a Local Storm Report issued by the National Weather Service, there was a public sighting of a funnel cloud 3 miles to the East-Northeast of Winchester, Virginia at 5:05 p.m. Thursday.
Other than the funnel cloud, there have been no other reports of tornado touchdowns or damage from this Tornado Warning issued earlier this evening.
